
For our first blog post, we thought we’d try and answer some of the questions you no doubt have about the platform. We will have more posts coming out over the next few weeks helping you to get the most out of HomeEase, so look out for those.
So first, what is HomeEase?
HomeEase is an online marketplace which connects businesses who perform home service jobs to customers who want those jobs done around their house. For now HomeEase is a website (homeease.co.nz), but there’s plans for an app in the pipeline.
Why was HomeEase built?
Great question. There’s a reason HomeEase has the name it does. For customers, we want to make it easy to find the perfect business for the job. And for businesses, HomeEase is built to make it as easy as possible to connect with customers and grow.
How does HomeEase make money?
We want HomeEase to be as accessible as possible to both customers and businesses. That’s why we’ve made it completely free to use. Businesses will only have to pay a small commission to HomeEase if they successfully complete a job that originated from the platform. We also offer paid listing options (which are completely optional).
What new features can I expect in the future?
The process of building HomeEase is iterative and we are committed to constantly improving the platform for our users. Keep one eye peeled for announcements of new features in the coming weeks and months.
