We’re back with another blog post and this time we will be looking at the request function on HomeEase.
Are you a customer who couldn’t find what you were looking for on our ‘Services’ or ‘Top Provider’ pages? Look no further than our request function. The request function allows you to create a customised service request which businesses can then offer to complete.
To start your request, navigate to the top right hand corner of the HomeEase website and click the ‘Post a Request’ button.
From there, you’ll be prompted to add details of your request. You’ll be able to choose the category your request belongs too – if it doesn’t fit nicely into any of the available options, simply choose ‘other’. Images are optional, but adding some will give businesses greater visibility into the job they will be undertaking and will increase the chances of a successful offer.
Once you’ve added some photos, you’ll need to think of a title for your listing. The best titles are short and simple! With a title sorted, there are a number of other fields to fill out before you can post your request. Add a budget, an hourly rate (optional), when you need the job completed and the time of day which suits to have the job done.
Finally, fill out the description for your request, making sure to add as much detail as possible. Then you’re all set to go! You’ll receive an email notification when you receive an offer for the job and from there will have the option to either accept or decline the offer.
